Best think I have done in years. - This experience was an idea suggested by my daughter. Our small group of 14 people were lead by Kilian and Sara who apart from being amazing humans were knowledgeable about the whole area as well as its history. The trip well worth it, you may see amazing Instagram moment of people in there bikinis but the water is 16 degrees and to really enjoy yourself the suit is a godsend. I have never been snorkeling and can honestly say I can't wait to try it again

Family waterfall tour May 2025 - This was the most fun thing we did in Crete! The waterfall tour is physical and we had to hike into a canyon and swim up a gorge to a stunning waterfall! It’s amazing!! We created memories that will bond us together as family for a lifetime! So thank you so much for making this happen! We want to thank Sara, Alex, Kirsten, Kilian, Paul and Anki for making our time on the tour and at the dive centre so much fun. Your attention and patience with our children was so refreshing and reassuring. You also took your time to talk and understand our family dynamics allowing you to deliver a perfect service that allowed us to complete this adventure in a safe way. Thank you so much! Wonderful Excursion - Very easy and comfortable experience! Schedule is phenomenal laid out and we had a wonderful time - great views from the drive all the way to the beach itself. Jo did a great job as our guide!

Amazing Force of Nature Up Close and Personal! - This trip was so well done from beginning to end. Communication from the company started about a month ahead of time. They sent information on what to bring, what to expect and provided waivers that needed to be signed so we could be fully prepared to enjoy our day when we got there. Given that we went during the “shoulder season”, there were only 6 people in our group. The company provided instructions and information in English and French to ensure that everyone was able to communicate. We arrived around 930 and chatted with the wonderful staff and then watched a video of what to expected. We, then, loaded into a van and drove the 5 or so minutes to the parking area. We walked down to see the top of the waterfall before heading down to the bottom where we would put on wetsuits, helmets (in case of a fall or rock) and snorkel gear. The water was COLD but only until you got used to it and the wetsuit warmed you up. We scrambled over rocks and played in the water as we made our way up to the falls. We then donned our snorkel gear and swam against the current to make it the falls. We jumped in the water, searched for eels, and had a great time splashing around. Then, we headed back, had a snack and walked back to the van. Once back at the dive shop, we got to see the spectacular photos that our awesome guide took of everyone. We were able to purchase the pics for 20 euros and received them digitally which was a nice touch. This trip was truly worth it and a great way to see an amazing force of nature up close and personal! There were a lot of stairs, both up and down, but the return to the van included an access road which eliminated the need to walk up as many as we walked down which the folks lugging the wet suits (aka my husband) appreciated.

Amazing Experience but let the buyer beware - This was my favorite activity in Crete and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone that is physically able. That said, I’m giving it four stars because I think critical information is left out of the description. My partner and I are of average health in our mid forties and our sons are teenagers and we completed it without much difficulty. I would not recommend this for children under 12 unless they’re strong swimmers and have no issues with heights. I would not recommend this for anyone with mobility issues or that has problems hiking long distances, climbing stairs, swimming, etc., There is hike at the beginning and end of this trip that is pretty strenuous. I counted 189 steps on the way up and there are even more on the trip down to the waterfall. There is also a small portion where everyone has to do a small bit of rock climbing. There is a small portion where everyone needs to swim upstream, against the current, to get to the falls. I recommend sturdy shoes and would avoid flip flops. You can, and should, change into water shoes when you reach the water. Bring water - the company provides water at the start/end but if it’s hot you’re going to want some in that hike. The lagoon is also infested with influencers but one get into the gorge/waterfall they thin out. Again, I had a blast. The pictures are amazing and I would recommend this to everyone that is physically able to do it. Just know that it’s not exactly a stroll in the park.

The waterfalls were... - The waterfalls were breathtaking. It was a very strenuous hike down and back from the falls, carrying a heavy ruck sack with gear for 2 people. The activity also included climbing up and down rocks in the gorge. It was a cool trip and the guides were wonderful! I just wish we spent more time at the waterfalls and that I knew the hike down and back would take the majority of the time.

Extra tips - The information in advance regarding own personal items to leave true is allowed more. In this case well arranged, they stay at the dive center. Also because it is quite a descent and climb, it would also be useful to know to bring ordinary shoes outside the water shoes. Flip flops can be done but not handy.

Superb excursion - Was just fantastic!!! We all enjoyed it en will definitely recommend it to other friends and family. My nephew's already in next time.

Great fun at the waterfall - Great staff at the diving school. Everyone very welcoming and friendly. Max and Tom were excellent guides, knowledgeable and good fun. Almost a double act.
