The Fascinating Backstory of Myrtle Beach - The Trolley Tour was an enjoyable way to learn about Myrtle Beach's history and its role in movie making in the mid-century. The tour leader is a native of Myrtle Beach and gave lots of fun backstory about local legends. The blending of the Black and white music cultures from the 1930s to the 1960's was fascinating, and led to the birth of the Shag, the South Carolina State Dance.

A hidden gem of things to do in Myrtle Beach - This was a great tour! I no longer live at the beach but spent many years close by. It was really cool to hear about all the movies, music and other details about some of the history of Myrtle beach (such as about the air force base, some of the golf sites. movie sites, local artist and I really loved stopping by Charlies Place. The entire 2 hrs was informative. I would not only recommend this tour but also plan to book another one. The tour guide was VERY knowledgeable and friendly. The driver was nice too!

A great day! - Our tour guide was excellent. She was a wealth of knowledge and experience. Her enthusiasm and excitement for her job made the trip very enjoyable. She was willing to answer questions and kept us guessing with the trivia! We would highly recommend this tour and Katherine! The bus driver was very nice as well! She kept asking if the temperature was good all along the way! We felt very well taken care of! Thanks!

Trolley tour is terrific!!! - My friends and I went on the Movies, Music and History tour today. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it. So much information and history of Myrtle Beach and its impact on the cinematic and music scenes is provided. The trolley is very comfortable and climate controlled. You do get on and off the trolley at two stops and there is some walking involved. But if that can be a challenge for you then you can just remain on the trolley. Well worth it. Book your tour now. 🚃🚃

An Honest Evaluation - Although the guide knew your information, it felt as if she had memorized it word for word from a script about the area. Much of it dealt with people that most of the people on the trolley had not heard about because it was from a time long ago, and most were retirees. The stopping at locations was very well done because we could related to it right there.
