- Changu Narayan - Changu Narayan temple is the oldest temple of Nepal which is listed in the World Heritage Site UNESCO. It is located in Changu village at Bhaktapur district. This temple was built in 3500 AD by Lichhavi Dynasty in pagoda style. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This temple is made with local varieties and woods with the various arts of god and goddess in pillars of the temple.
- Chhinnamasta - Just beside the Changu Narayan temple there is one another important temple called Chinnamasta where people use to sacrifice animals like chickens, ducks, male goats, lambs and many more when their wishes get fulfilled. The river called Manahara flows beside the hill. There are four entrance gates in Temple and the gates are guarded by life-size pairs of animals such as lions, seraphs, griffins and elephants on each side of the entrance. According to locals, when you perceive the Changu Narayan temple you can discern the absolute cultural development of the Kathmandu valley. It also offers a magnificent view of stunning snow-capped mountains as well as entire Kathmandu valley.

Great Day Trip With Umesh - Highly recommend this day trip! Booked on short notice but Umesh was great with coordinating the early am meet up at my hotel and providing great details about each facet of the hike. Worth the early rise!

Unforgettable sunrise over Himalayas - We had an incredible sunrise hike to Nagarkot and Changu Narayan, guided by Ananta and driver Bijay. The entire experience far exceeded our expectations.
Ananta is an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and beauty of the region. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the hike and shared fascinating insights that brought every stop along the way to life. Watching the sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot was absolutely breathtaking, and the visit to Changu Narayan was unforgettable.
Bijay, our driver, was prompt, courteous, and made us feel safe at all times. The journey was smooth and stress-free, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience.
We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Nepal—especially with Ananta and Bijay. Thank you both for such a memorable adventure!

Excellent experience - The tour guide Mr. Ananta very professional humor, with us climbing the mountains to see the beautiful scenery, I highly recommend him
Unfortunately today the cloud layer is thicker, not seeing the sunrise, and the sunrise is definitely very beautiful.
The scenery along the way is also very beautiful, this trip is highly recommended

A Memorable Morning in the Mountains of Nepal - We went to see the sunrise in Nagarkot today—although the sunrise didn’t show up, we had an amazing time thanks to our wonderful guide, Ananta.
He took us for a peaceful walk along mountain trails, let us taste traditional rice wine brewed with firewood, and helped us take so many beautiful photos.
He was also really funny, and his good vibes made this part of the journey truly joyful and unforgettable.
Huge thanks to Ananta for making this experience so special!

Wonderful hike and wonderful guide! - Absolutely stunning walk! We had a wonderful time, views were incredible and the hike really lovely and accessible. Our guide Ram was fantastic, he took very good care of us, my mum wasn't feeling well and he was very attentive, so she had a great time. We also learned A LOT about the area and about Nepal. Couldn't recommend more!

Nagarcote Himalaya View Tour - It was nice to be able to adjust the private tour schedule. The guide RAM Acharya was very friendly and did his best to give us good explanations and memories^^ The landscape from Nagarkoot was also good and the cafe with the go down was good ~ the communication with the representatives was very good and the request was well heard and very satisfied.^^

Great view, awesome guide - Sunrise was amazing and the hike was very nice. Our guide Ram was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and spent much of the walk explaining many things about Nepalese culture and the history of his country. He took us to some local spots for breakfast and lunch which were incredible. Highly recommend

Excellent Sunrise view and hike with great Guide and driver - Our guide, Umesh and driver have been great. Umesh is knowledgeable and able to explain the history and culture of Changu Narayan. Nagarok Sunrise Trip was totally worth waking up early. Umesh also brought us to see water fall and village through a hike. Hike is a little tough due to our own fitness level but we still manage to finish with Umesh's guidance and patience. The transportation is also excellent, we were picked up from our accommodation. Overall, a positive experience. Strongly recommend for people visiting Kathmandu.

That was amazing - An absolutely breathtaking experience! Watching the sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot was magical, and the peaceful hike to Changunarayan was the perfect way to connect with nature. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared fascinating insights about the local culture and history. If you're in Kathmandu, I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a mix of adventure and serenity. A must-do!
