Nagasaki History and Culture - Our guide Yoshi met us at the hotel to talk about the plan for the day. We started with the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum and then The Peace Park. The museum is well thought out with information and artefacts presented in different ways. After, we rode a tram to the City Hall Observation deck with great views across the city. There was also a video about the history that shaped Nagasaki. Then we walked along the canal to Hamano Machi Arcade. This was a great tour with the best guide. Yoshi had so much information to share and made sure to consult with us along the way. If you are interested in history and culture, take this tour.

A Beautiful Morning of Sightseeing in Nagasaki - We had a fantastic time on our walking tour with our guide, Yoshi! She was very knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited. We saw many beautiful sights and particularly enjoyed walking along the river near The Spectacles Bridge and spotting wildlife on and in the river.

6/5 stars - This tour was beyond fantastic! My guide was Yoshi and she was phenomenal! We toured the Atomic Bomb museum, peace park, summit and former Dutch trading post. In between she taught me about Japanese culture and customs which was fascinating. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about preserving the city’s history. A side note was my grandfather was stationed in Nagasaki right after the war ended and he gave me photos. Yoshi was able to look at them and bring me to some of the locations where the photos were taken. For me this was incredibly moving and I couldn’t have asked for a better tour/guide. Thank you again Yoshi!

Nagasaki Highlights with Best Guide - My husband and I cannot say enough good things about this tour and our tour guide. Yuko was knowledgable, kind, and fun. Her English was fantastic. She was born and raised in Nagasaki and knew interesting secret places to take us. She shared her own family history of the war and bomb. She shared her culture as well. The Atomic Bomb museum and peace park were moving places to visit made even more meaningful by Yuko.

A amazing day of explorations around Nagasaki with a local expert! - My sister and I had an unforgettable day exploring the history and culture of Nagasaki with our expert guide, Ms. Hattori Yoshiko. From the moment she greeted us at our hotel, Yoshi-san’s profound knowledge of the city’s past and culture brought each site to life. She provided a thorough overview of Nagasaki’s pivotal role as a foreign trading post, along with fascinating stories about the local culture. We then visited significant landmarks like the Peace Park, the Atomic Bomb Museum, and the Hypocenter Park—each a poignant reminder of the city’s tragic experience when it became the target of one of history’s most horrific acts of violence. Yoshi’s personal insights made the experience even more impactful, offering perspectives that we could never have gained on our own. The day was a perfect blend of history, culture, and stunning views. I left feeling deeply moved and enriched by Nagasaki’s resilience and beauty. I highly recommend this tour—and Yoshi!—to anyone who wants to truly understand the spirit of the city.
