Walk through Nagasaki's past - Our guide Hiro was a walking encyclopedia. His knowledge of Nagasaki and its place in Japan's history was amazing. We walked though 1945 to the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum to 1634 when the Meganbashi bridge was designed and built. And to Glover Garden, where the garden celebrates the Western styled homes built around 1860, and the beginning of the modernization of Japan. And finally to the man-made port "city" of Dejima. Hiro was very aware of the heat and humidity which ruled the day, emphasizing rest and hydration.

- We had a great experience with Hiro-san, our tour guide in Nagasaki. Two months before the tour, he sent me the proposed itinerary. He was very knowledgeable about the culture and history of the city and took us by tram to the main highlights of Nagasaki, including the Peace Memorial, the Atomic Bomb Museum, Spectacles Bridge, Chinatown, Glover Garden, and the Dejima Museum. Hiro was very kind and patient, and we fully recommend this experience in Nagasaki.
