Nagasaki Dream Tour - Our guide was very knowledgable and flexible conducting the tour. We do not move well for long distances, so our guide was able to juggle the tour to cover all the important locations.

Friendly and smooth day - We just had a memorable visit to Nagasaki, with our wonderful guide Adrianne. She was very professional and friendly, and has lived in Nagasaki most of her life so she’s very familiar with all the public transportation and local historic sites. She adapted the tour for us (“we like to take lots of pictures”), and we did not feel rushed. She got us onto the right buses and trams with little delay, and answered all our questions as well as explaining meaningful historical events and stories. At lunch time she asked what kinds of foods we might like, and suggested restaurants and street food in the area. We had a delicious lunch at a Japanese restaurant and sampled some traditional food. So good! A lovely way to spend a day in Nagasaki. Highly Recommend!

Nagasaki! Awesome option for cruise passengers - We had an incredible day with Mari who was the most gracious and knowledgeable host. She made sure we had our questions answered and as she shared wonderful Nagasaki with us, she was also curious about learning about us. Once we were back on our cruise (by the way, highly recommend this for your port day) the one thing we all agreed on, was that we would have probably not enjoyed Nagasaki as much as we did had we not done it with Mari. Thank you so much, Mari for a wonderful time!

Immerse yourself in everyday life by tram. - If you want to immerse yourself in Japanese life, this tour by tram is recommended. We saw the city’s well-known hotspots with the observatory, which offered impressive views of the city. Wayne also showed us the Peace Stadium, where you could have lunch in one of the restaurants.

Personalized Tour - Adrianne did a wonderful job of giving us a personalized tour of Nagasaki. She took us to sites ‘off the beaten path’ and gave us a real feel for the town. She speaks great English and was a lot of fun.

Excellent private tour via tram! - We had an excellent tour with our very knowledgeable guide, Hiromi. She greeted us promptly as we got off our ship, then proceeded to arrange our private tour around the cloudy/rainy weather, and made optimal use of our time. The Atomic bomb museum was the highlight of our tour, despite being such a sad reminder of our past. We enjoyed the Peasce Memorial gardens that had azaleas in full bloom! Hiromi even was able to work in a stop at a lovely outdoor Cafe right on the waterfront. Nagasaki is such a beautiful city; and having such a skilled guide such as Hiromi was a delightful benefit!

Amazing Tour of Nagasaki - If you have a day in Nagasaki, you have to do a tour with Nagasaki Private Tours. We did the Nagasaki Highlights Private Full Day Tour by Tram and it was easily one of the top highlights of our 3 weeks in Japan. Throughout the course of our trip we had done more commercial tours, and Japan as a whole is great, but this tour was very different in all the best ways. Hiro and his wife were amazing guides. Hiro is native to Japan, but has spent considerable time abroad, and his wife is a foreigner; this was a great dynamic to have as dual guides because you get two different perspectives. They took time to get to know us throughout the day and delivered curated bits of information that you just wouldn't get from a more commercial tour based on our interests. Taking on the city by tram, and local transport, was half the fun for me and just felt more authentic. Japanese public transportation felt incredibly daunting coming from the States, but Hiro's local knowledge made it as easy as could be. We did the Inasa Overlook/Ropeway, Nagasaki Peace Park and Meusem, and the Glover Garden and loved every part of the day!

A great day out in Nagasaki - An excellent tour of Nagasaki with our lovely guide, Yuri. Yuri and her family before her have lived in Nagasaki for many years so she was able to relate personal stories as well as historical stories of the area. It was great to travel with the locals on buses, trams and cable cars to our various destinations including the Tower, Atomic Bomb Museum, Ground Zero, Peace Park and Glover Gardens. Yuri also suggested a good place to have lunch and recommendations for lovely local dishes. All in all, a great day out.
