This trip will provide a unique chance to explore and experience the most charming colonial towns brimming with cultural heritage in the west of El Salvador. Starting in Nahuizalco, a town steeped in indigenous traditions renowned for its exquisite wicker and tule crafts. Our journey proceeds to Apaneca, the loftiest village across the entirety of El Salvador, prominent for its coffee farms. Here, you can partake in optional activities such as Bike Zip Lining or traversing the largest maze in Central America. Culminating in the vibrant town of Ataco, esteemed for its arts and crafts, dining establishments, and its beautiful cobbled lanes. Post Ataco, we’ll partake in an intriguing Coffee tour at the El Carme Estate and complete our journey with a soothing stopover at Termales de Santa Teresa to relish the hot springs.

A treasure trove of all things El Salvador - Raphael is the heart and soul of this country. His passion for it is evident in the detailed stories he shares along the ruta de flores with stops in charming towns and idyllic locations for coffee and lunch.

A personalized and unforgettable experience - We booked this tour at 7pm the night before, and we would like to thank Raphael especially for his great reactivity and for having advised us so well at the last minute on the activity. Excellent service!

Great tour. Worth the time. - What a beautiful opportunity it was to go into the countryside and see the small town. The coffee tour was educational and ending up at the hit springs was great. Osmaro our tour guide really elevated the experience with his knowledge and his demeanor. He was extremely nice and did a wonderful job.

A Perfect Day in El Salvador: Adventure, Coffee & a Hot Spring Soak - If you're looking for the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, the Ruta de Las Flores experience delivers big time. From the vibrant towns and scenic drive to the relaxing hot springs and charming 1930s coffee farm tour, every stop was a highlight. The coffee tour was both rich in history and flavor, and soaking in the hot springs after exploring made it feel like the best kind of self-care day. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore El Salvador's culture, nature, and coffee scene all in one trip! Hubert was great.

Volcanos and Coffee - We as tourists, enjoyed the historical, cultural heritage, and geographical experience given to us by our tour guide Francisco. In addition, he was helpful towards my elderly mom and elderly aunt, very attentive at helping them when there were stairs since both ladies have bad knees. Francisco has an amazing respectful personality we highly enjoyed his company my mom and Aunt can’t stop speaking about him.

A Ruta de Las Flores adventure you should not miss! - Our tour guide, Herbert, made this tour a memorable one! It was full of information about the region that enhanced the experience. Prior to the trip, he ensured that he contacted us and was clear on the pickup time and location. The trips to the towns along the Ruta de Flores were picturesque. Having Herbert as our translator relieved us of any stress. When we went to the coffee plantation, we were greeted by one of the employees who showed us around the facility and showed us the process with Herbert's translation. The experience was unique, and the surrounding area was gorgeous. The town of Ataco should be added to every El Salvadorian itinerary for it's beautiful aesthetic and great retail. The day ended with the the Termales de Santa Teresa, which was the perfect way to end the day with multiple pools and beverages. 😀 The drive home felt safe and Herbert took us right to the door of our hotel. I would book with him and Eco Tours Petate in the future!

Our guide Herbert was... - Our guide Herbert was great and shared a lot of information about El Salvador, its history and culture. The towns we saw were beautiful. I just wish we had gotten to sit down and eat or have coffee in one of the towns instead of having lunch at the hot springs.

A nice day out! Herbert... - A nice day out! Herbert was an excellent driver, guide, and company for this day trip. I think the tour would benefit from more time in the towns on the route, maybe some free time to explore here, but the stop at the hot springs at the end of the day was really lovely. Would recommend if you want to see a lot but are short on time.
