Nairobi City - Maasai Mara National Reserve
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Today, guests will be collected from either the airport or their hotel for a pre-departure meeting at their chosen location. This will be followed by a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley escarpment to Narok County, the land of the Maa people. The Maasai Mara National Reserve, part of the expansive Serengeti plains, is renowned for the spectacular wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino. The intercounty borders separate these two magnificent national parks. Upon arrival, guests will enjoy lunch at the lodge or camp and relax before embarking on an afternoon game drive.
Maasai Mara National Reserve
Maasai Mara National Reserve - On the second day, guests will start with a delicious breakfast. They will then embark on a full-day game drive in the reserve, complete with a picnic lunch. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is a preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, near the Tanzanian border. The Mara Triangle, bordering the Mara River, features lush grasslands and acacia woodlands, ideal for game drives. The Mara is famous for the Great Migration, occurring annually from July to September, when over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes migrate from the Serengeti to the Mara in search of food and water.
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park - After a restful sleep, guests will enjoy breakfast before departing for Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s premier parks, known for its Rift Valley soda lakes. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed and shown to their rooms. After lunch, they will embark on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, a haven for bird enthusiasts due to the numerous bird species residing there. Lake Nakuru is home to over 400 bird species, including flamingos that inhabit the lake and the park’s savannah grasslands. Bird species include the African Fish Eagle, Slender-billed Greenbul, Long-tailed Widowbird, Rufous-throated Wryneck, Montane White-eye, Red-capped Lark, Northern Puffback, Rüppell’s Robin-chat, Shining Sunbird, and many more.
Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Elementaita (Soda Lake)
Lake Elementaita - Guests will start their day with breakfast before departing for Lake Elementaita National Park. Upon arrival, they will receive a welcome drink and be shown to their rooms. After lunch, they will enjoy a leisurely guided walk along the bird-rich lake. Lake Elementaita, a soda lake in the Great Rift Valley, is approximately 120 km northwest of Nairobi, Kenya. The salt lake is renowned for its rich avifauna, including large concentrations of Greater and Lesser flamingos. The day will conclude with a relaxing dip in the hot springs, followed by dinner and a campfire at the lodge.
Lake Elementaita (Soda Lake) - Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park - Guests will depart for Amboseli via Nairobi in the morning after breakfast. The journey will take them south through Maasai County to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro, where Amboseli is located. This scenic park is famous for its majestic elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro in neighboring Tanzania. After a picnic lunch en route, guests can enjoy spectacular wildlife sightings, including lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, buffalo, and various plains game. Picture-perfect moments are almost guaranteed. Finally, guests will return to their hotel.
Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park - Guests will rise early for breakfast and prepare for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. They will continue exploring the park, seeking its renowned residents, including well-known predators and their prey, such as zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes. Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most famous wildlife destinations, known for excellent elephant sightings in the marshy areas and the breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro (Observation Hill offers the best vistas). Guests can capture the perfect sight of a large gathering of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Accommodation: Sentrim Lodge Amboseli.
Amboseli National Park - Namanga - Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, guests will leave the park with views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and drive to the Tanzania-Kenya border at Namanga. After immigration clearance, they will be transferred to Tarangire National Park. This lesser-known game reserve in Tanzania rivals the Serengeti in its abundance and diversity of wildlife. It is an excellent choice for travelers seeking more animals and fewer tourists on safari. Tarangire National Park is renowned as a superb birding destination and features large numbers of animals, especially during the dry season when the Tarangire River is the area’s only water source. The landscape is also notable for its numerous scenic baobab trees.
Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, guests will be transferred to the renowned Serengeti National Park. This park is to Tanzania what the Masai Mara National Reserve is to Kenya. Covering 14,763 sq km, the Serengeti NP is characterized by vast, open plains teeming with wildlife. A picnic lunch will be provided en route, and the afternoon will be spent viewing wildlife and taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Serengeti’s almost treeless plains. After an early breakfast, guests will embark on an early morning game drive, returning for a hearty lunch. After a brief rest, there will be an afternoon game drive to further explore this world-famous park.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater - Guests will be transferred to the Ngorongoro Crater via Olduvai Gorge. Ngorongoro is an impressive 20 km wide volcanic crater with 600 m walls. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Olduvai Gorge is famous for the discovery of 3.5-million-year-old fossil fragments of an early human civilization. Guests will enjoy lunch overlooking the crater, and the afternoon will be spent at leisure.
Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha Airport
Arusha - In the morning, depending on their flight schedule, guests will be driven back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for their transfer to Zanzibar Island or their journey home. This marks the end of the trip!
