Excellent from start to finish - Before and after booking we received good and quick answers to our questions, payment worked without problems via payment link. We had some adjustments with where we wanted to be picked up and dropped off after booking, no problems changing. Our driver/guide Edward was very good to talk to and knew everything and everyone along the entire trip from Nairobi and all the way into Masai Mara. (During the trip I spoke to several people independently of each other who spontaneously congratulated us on the guide we had and we were not disappointed!) The most important part during a safari like this is to have a driver who has contacts and knows where the animals are, he was always on top of that. Before our safari it had rained a lot and there were challenges to get around in the terrain on many occasions, he always solved that even if it was sometimes really muddy and difficult to drive. The only Big-five animal we did not see was the Rhino, the scenes were at times like in Jurassic Park :) We had a Toyota Landcruiser 4x4 which is reliable and gets around well, which was important in the conditions we had. I can highly recommend Aanika Karibu Safaris!

Amazing 4-Day Safari Experience - We spent 3 nights / 4 days visiting Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha. Everything was perfectly organized, and our driver Ben was excellent – professional, knowledgeable, and very kind. Highly recommend this agency for a smooth and unforgettable safari experience!

More than recommended - The whole experience with Aanika Karibu Safaris was awesome, from the initial communication with Robert to the safari in Masai Mara with the fantastic guides Paul and Terrance, who shared a lot of information about the reserve, the animals and made sure that everyone had the opportunity to see the Big Five :)

Wonderful 3 days Masai Visit - It was a very beautiful journey. From the pick up and back everything was well organized. Robert at the back office was always available for questions. Our driver was one of the best. Cheers to Jef!

The complete extraordinary experience - The experience was amazing. Though the stop at the Great Rift Valley is not the actual viewing point of the rift you can see the Valley beautifully. “Enchoro wild camp” had an amazing service and hospitality. It was 5 minutes walking from a Masai Village so we where able to go any time. Food was incredible and after dinner they lit a bonfire. Our game drives with Mark were also very good. We where so happy to see most of the big five, as also a lot of other animals.

Great value for money - We had a wunderfull 3 day trip starting 21 until 23 januari 2026. Anika Karibu brings great value for money, considering most safaries are terrible expensive. For 300 Usd they offer the total package including meals tented lodges and entrence fees. Our driver guide Raymond made us see all 5 of the the big 5 and a lot more. We sure were happy choosing this company. Klaas and Imme, father and son from the Netherlands

Very Good Safari, Could Use More Guiding Information - Overall, the safari was very well organized and left us with a great impression. Everything ran smoothly, we felt safe throughout the trip, and the experience itself was truly enjoyable. The only small drawback was that our driver was not very talkative. He mostly answered questions when we asked but did not share much information about the animals or surroundings on his own. We would have appreciated a bit more engagement and storytelling during the drive. That said, it was still a very good safari experience, and we are happy we went.

Meh. - Was okay. When I first arrived the people picking me up were demanding that my USD was fake and that I needed to withdraw new bills. They kept saying they wanted to take me to an ATM where I could withdraw more, and almost made me not go on the trip anymore because where am I supposed to magically conjure more money up when I have the cash in hand. They kept saying that no matter where I go to exchange the USD to KSH, they would not accept my USD because it was "fake". Lo and behold, the first place I went to did. No apology from staff for the rude stereotyping and behaviour. The actual tour was fine. Our guide was not super friendly, seemed more focused on taking his own photos of the animals that educating or guiding us, and seemed exasperated when asked questions. Having gone on other tours in Kenya, I know this was not the standard. I think if you are not a fellow African you will get better treatment, but if you are I recommend another tour group.
