Samburu National Reserve - Upon arrival, your guide will greet you at the airport and drive you to Samburu Game Reserve, where you will arrive in time for lunch. Following lunch, you have the option to embark on an afternoon game drive. Samburu Game Reserve, part of Kenya’s Northern Circuit, is one of the country’s most stunning parks. It is home to a diverse array of native wildlife, including African elephants, zebras, and Masai giraffes. The reserve is renowned for its desert-adapted species, such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and reticulated giraffe. This compact and picturesque park is nestled between arid mountains and the lush banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Samburu offers not only a wildlife sanctuary but also a captivating cultural experience, as it is situated in the heart of Samburu country, where local communities maintain their traditional lifestyle.

Samburu National Reserve - On this day, follow the Ewaso Nyiro River in search of a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, Beisa oryx, and smaller animals like dik-diks, warthogs, and olive baboons. The entire day is dedicated to exploring this unique game reserve. Samburu National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru - After an early morning assisted check-out, enjoy a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru. The park is famous for its easy sightings of both black and white rhinos, as well as its lion populations, some of which are known for their unusual tree-climbing habits. You will also have the opportunity to see the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, flamingos, leopards, and a variety of bird species. The park’s unique combination of lake, acacia forest, and dramatic escarpment creates a stunning backdrop. Embark on a guided game drive with your expert guide, searching for rhinos, lions, and flamingos. Afterward, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, check out and depart for Masai Mara National Reserve via Narok, the largest Maasai town. Proceed to the reserve and check in at Sarova Mara Hotels for lunch. At 4 pm, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive. Famous for its appearances in Big Cat Diary and Disney’s African Cats, the Maasai Mara is a top destination on many safari wishlists. Known for the Great Migration—one of the world’s natural wonders—it offers a breathtaking, wildlife-rich savannah landscape. The reserve was once described by biologist Julian Huxley as “the only easily accessible and readily studied remaining portion of the world’s pre-human climax community at its tropical richest.” The region is also home to the Maasai people, who continue to herd cattle and goats in a traditional lifestyle that has remained largely unchanged for over 350 years. After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
