Arrival in Nairobi

Nairobi - Upon arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, guests will be transferred to the Stanley Hotel in Nairobi for an overnight stay (30 min), with the safari commencing the following morning. Depending on the arrival time, there is an option to explore Nairobi or simply relax before the safari adventure. Begin the journey at the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, where visitors can observe baby elephants being fed and playing in the mud. Later, transfer to the Karen Blixen Museum, located in the former home of the renowned Danish author Karen Blixen, who penned “Out of Africa.” Enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of the nearby restaurants or cafes, with the Tamambo Karen Blixen Coffee Garden being a popular choice for its charming ambiance. Later, visit the Giraffe Center, a conservation hub for the endangered Rothschild giraffe, where guests can hand-feed these gentle giants and learn about giraffe conservation efforts.

Arrival in Ol Pejeta

Ol Pejeta Conservancy - In the morning, a driver will pick up guests from the hotel to transport them to Ol Pejeta’s private conservancy. Located on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy is dedicated to wildlife conservation and providing a sanctuary for great apes, offering stunning scenery. Arrive in time for lunch at the Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Afterward, spend the rest of the day spotting wildlife and visiting the renowned Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

Full day in Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Spend the day observing wildlife and visiting the famous Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Additionally, guests can explore the world-renowned rhino sanctuary or enjoy some relaxation at the camp. During the game drive, expect to see antelope, gazelle, zebra, warthog, marabou storks, and possibly the rare black rhino.

Arrival in Lake Naivasha and Hell’s Gate Adventure

Naivasha - After breakfast, depart from Sweetwaters and descend into the Great Rift Valley, where Naivasha is situated. Proceed for an afternoon game drive at Hell’s Gate National Park (1 hr). Hell’s Gate is home to giraffes, warthogs, zebra, buffalo, gazelle, and numerous birds. Wildlife such as buffalos can be seen in the shade or grazing. To preserve their habitats, they can only be observed from a respectful distance.

Full day in Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha - After breakfast, embark on an exciting walking safari to view more wildlife, accompanied by an experienced guide. Naivasha is an ideal location to observe resident waterbuck and giraffe as they graze and browse in the surrounding landscape. Later in the day, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha.

Arrival in Masai Mara

Lake Naivasha - Wake up and prepare for the transfer to the Masai Mara.
