Excellent tour. - The visit to Bomas of Kenya was very interesting. Aside from the dances, the visit to see traditional village outdoor museum was quite interesting. You get to see about 24 different tribal villages. Visit them before the dance which starts a 3:30. Our guide Eric was flexible and we changed our itinerary to suit our interests (less shopping, more culture).

Take in the culture with an experienced guide. - My guide Robert, was a safe and reliable guide. He made sure I was comfortable through the entire tour. He was very kind and polite. The dancers were very interactive and energetic. They were a real treat to seeing culture in Kenya. I highly recommend traveling with a knowledgeable guide like Robert and to include tours that bring you closer to the people you are visiting. Each dance was explained and presented in a wonderful way.

Terrible tour. Do not take. - Our tour was listed at 2 which we verified when we booked. The person however showed up at 1 and said it was at 1. This meant I wasn’t able to get any of my things (including camera) as We had just walked back into our hotel. He than drove us in a car with markings for the best western and not functioning seat belts to a curio shop. He said the place doesn’t open until 330 so he was trying to fill 2 hrs. At 2 we headed to Bomas and he said we’d just wander around for an hour and a half until they opened. The tour lists it including bottled water. They didn’t provide that. There was one other person who the driver would whisper to the whole time. When we got back to our hotel the driver than had the nerve to ask for a tip after being rude, not providing what was promised, etc. he glared at us when we said no. Do not waste your money on this. The listed price is not what they charge either. It was a big waste of our money. We’d much rather have gotten a taxi to the center and done it on our own.
