Nairobi to Aberdares National Park
Aberdare National Park - The driver guide will pick up guests from their Nairobi hotel or the airport. The journey begins with a safari briefing on Safaris Aberdares and Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Shortly after, guests will depart for Aberdares National Park, enjoying a picturesque drive through the Kenyan Highlands. There is a chance to see the snow-capped peak of Mt. Kenya along the way. Upon arrival at the Aberdares Country Club hotel, guests will have lunch and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. A short nature walk within the club is available while waiting for the transfer to The Ark lodge in the afternoon for an overnight stay. The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, attracting magnificent wildlife such as large elephants and buffaloes. It features four viewing decks with balconies and lounges for excellent game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay will be at The Ark Lodge or a similar venue.
Aberdares to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Ol Pejeta Conservancy - After a morning breakfast and a game drive en route, guests will depart Aberdares for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arriving with a game drive en route in time for lunch. Check-in will be at Sweetwaters Luxury Tented Camp or a similar accommodation. Notably, Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the only sanctuary in Kenya for the rehabilitation of chimpanzees, with two groups living in an environment closely resembling their natural habitat. The site is also a dedicated black rhino breeding area. In the afternoon, guests will enjoy a Kenya Safari Ol Pejeta game drive across the Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Sweetwaters Luxury Tented Camp or a similar venue.
Ol Pejeta to Nairobi
Nairobi - An early morning game drive will be followed by breakfast, check-out, and departure for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Guests will be dropped off at their hotel or the airport for their onward flight to the next destination.
