Arrival in Nairobi – Gateway to Adventure
Nairobi - Upon landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, travelers will be warmly greeted by a knowledgeable safari guide, who will assist with luggage and provide transportation to the accommodation in Nairobi.
As the vibrant capital of Kenya, Nairobi is not only a gateway to the country’s stunning national parks but also a city rich in history, culture, and natural beauty. With its mix of modern skyscrapers and vast green spaces, Nairobi offers a unique combination of urban excitement and wildlife experiences, making it one of Africa’s most dynamic cities.
After checking in, guests can relax and unwind after their journey. They can take time to refresh, enjoy the peaceful surroundings of their lodge or hotel, and prepare for the amazing safari adventure ahead.
Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Following a delightful breakfast, travelers will depart Nairobi for the renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve, a journey of about four to five hours by road. Leaving the bustling capital behind, they will pass through scenic landscapes, rural villages, and rolling hills, offering a glimpse into the everyday life of the Kenyan countryside.
A highlight of the drive is the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where there will be a brief stop to admire the breathtaking panoramic views of this ancient geological wonder, formed millions of years ago. This is an ideal opportunity to capture stunning photos before continuing the journey toward the untamed wilderness of the Maasai Mara.
Travelers will arrive at the park in the afternoon and will be taken to their lodge for lunch. Afterwards, they will embark on a late afternoon game drive until sunset, then return to their accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Explore Masai Mara National Reserve
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Prepare for an incredible adventure with a full-day game drive in the world-famous Maasai Mara. No other park in Kenya matches the sheer abundance of wildlife found here. The Mara is a thriving ecosystem that supports an astonishing variety of animals, from the iconic Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo—to countless other species that inhabit this breathtaking landscape.
Guests will also have the opportunity to witness one of the most spectacular events—the Great Wildebeest Migration. During this time, over 1.5 million wildebeests, accompanied by thousands of zebras and gazelles, journey from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in search of greener pastures. The highlight of this journey is the Mara River crossing, a heart-pounding spectacle where the herds brave strong currents and lurking crocodiles, all in a desperate bid for survival.
After a successful day, guests will return to their accommodation just in time for dinner and an overnight stay.
Masai Mara - Northern Serengeti National Park
Maasai Mara National Reserve - After enjoying the morning’s incredible wildlife sightings, travelers will exit the Masai Mara National Reserve and head towards the border for the next phase of their adventure. Upon arrival at the Isebania border, they will complete the necessary border formalities before crossing into Tanzania.
Awaiting them on the Tanzanian side will be an expert guide, ready to welcome them and introduce them to the wonders of another legendary safari destination—the Serengeti National Park. From here, the journey continues into the heart of the Serengeti, where a whole new world of wildlife and stunning landscapes awaits, ensuring the safari experience remains as thrilling as ever.
Northern Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - After an early breakfast, travelers will continue their game drive in the northern part of the Serengeti. They may observe the migration’s crossing of the Mara River or the large herds moving across the plains. The area is rich with wildlife, and there may also be a chance to spot elusive predators like leopards or rare sightings of wild dogs.
In the late morning or early afternoon, they’ll head back towards the central Serengeti, where they’ll spend the rest of the day exploring different parts of the park. Central Serengeti is teeming with wildlife, and the safari guide will tailor the day’s experience based on preferences and the movements of the animals.
In the evening, guests will relax in the lodge and enjoy a delicious dinner, reflecting on their unforgettable Serengeti experience.
Explore Central Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - Today, travelers will head out early for a morning game drive to witness a magnificent African sunrise in the bush. They’ll head out after a cup of coffee and experience the wilderness and its magnificent creatures as they wake up among the dew-covered grasses.
Later, they will return to camp for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, they will head out once more for another chance to explore the plains in search of the African wildlife they have come to see as they exit the park and make their way to their accommodation in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater-Transfer to Arusha
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After breakfast, travelers will begin their journey to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” This morning’s transfer will take them to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and the descent into the crater itself is a truly breathtaking experience.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a collapsed volcano, and it’s one of the most productive wildlife areas in the world. The floor of the crater is home to a variety of animals, including the Big Five (elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos), as well as hyenas, cheetahs, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. They’ll spend the day exploring the crater’s diverse ecosystems—grasslands, forests, and freshwater lakes.
For lunch, they’ll enjoy a picnic on the crater floor, surrounded by the magnificent landscapes and wildlife. Afterward, they will transfer to their accommodation in Arusha for the overnight stay.
