• Mount Longonot National Park - The adventure kicks off with a pickup from your Nairobi hotel or residence at 6:00 AM. After a drive of about an hour, the ascent begins at 6,000 feet. Like all great uphill hikes, it starts with a gentle incline to the first peak, offering a chance to warm up your lungs and limbs for the more challenging second section, which is the highlight of the hike.

This trek is not easy, but it is manageable for individuals with average fitness levels. A guide will accompany you all the way to the summit. The entire hike covers approximately 8–9 kilometers and is quite steep, making the round-trip from the park gate to Longonot Peak about 4 hours long. At the end of the tour, there is an optional visit to Lake Naivasha for a sunset boat ride to observe hippos, before returning to Nairobi for a drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
