Explore Maasai Mara National Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Departing Nairobi after breakfast around 07:30, guests will journey through Kenya’s lush highlands and descend the rift escarpment on a road constructed by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. Along the way, admire the quaint chapel at the escarpment’s base. Pass the remarkable Longonot earth satellite station as the journey continues across the valley to Narok. Travel through expansive fields of wheat and barley before arriving at the Masai Mara in time for lunch. After lunch, embark on the first game drive, returning to the lodge at sunset. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a Mara camp or lodge. The drive takes approximately 3-5.5 hours, depending on the accommodation.

Mara Game Drive

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After an early breakfast, set out on a morning game drive, returning to the camp mid-morning. Following lunch and perhaps a short rest, embark on another game drive and visit the Masai Village, returning to the lodge at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park - Departing the Masai Mara after breakfast, travel through Kenya’s ‘breadbasket,’ where fields of wheat and barley stretch across the landscape, heading north to Narok, the district headquarters of this region of Maasailand. Then, traverse the vast plains on the Rift Valley floor, watching for herds of giraffe and gazelle, as the journey continues up the Mai-Mahiu, arriving at Lake Nakuru around midday. Once in the park/conservancy, enjoy game viewing en route to the lodge. After lunch and a rest, there is an afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge at sunset. The national park, renowned for its birdlife, offers the chance to see flamingoes. It is also home to Black and White rhinos, as well as the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Lake Nakuru or Elementaita. The drive takes approximately 3-5 hours, depending on the accommodation.

Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha - After an early breakfast, proceed to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride. Leaving the Rift Valley behind, continue to Nairobi, arriving late morning. Once in the city, guests will be dropped off at the city centre drop-off point for further travel arrangements at approximately 12:00. The drive takes approximately 3 hours.
