The Masai Mara is one of Africa’s most renowned parks, offering excellent wildlife viewing year-round. The grassy plains and consistent rainfall support a vast population of herbivores, attracting numerous predators. All three big cats are relatively easy to spot. The annual wildebeest migration through the park is one of the world’s most incredible wildlife spectacles.

In the Mara, one of nature’s most spectacular events occurs: the great migration. This annual migration involves millions of wildebeest and zebra moving from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following them are the savanna’s predators – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.
