Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - At 8:00 AM, you will be picked up from your Nairobi Hotel/Westlands and begin the journey to Maasai Mara, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a stunning view of the valley floor. Arrive at the camp in time for lunch. After checking in and enjoying lunch, depart at 4:00 PM for a two-hour game drive in the Mara Reserve, concluding at 6:00 PM. Return to the camp for a delicious buffet dinner and a restful evening.

Full Day Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Enjoy breakfast at 6:30 AM and depart at 7:00 AM for a full day of game viewing in the park. Spend the day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five, hippos, and Nile crocodiles. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park under the shade of a croton tree, overlooking the expansive landscape.

The Mara is home to one of nature’s most spectacular events: the Great Migration. This annual migration sees millions of wildebeest and zebras move from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture, followed by the savanna’s predators – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

Nakuru - After an early morning breakfast, check out and drive to Nakuru. Arrive at 5:00 PM and spend the night at the LANET MAT FAM hotel, where dinner will be served.

Nakuru to Naivasha

Lake Nakuru National Park - Have an early breakfast and depart by 7:00 AM directly to the park. This small park is home to magnificent, rare white rhinos, part of the Big Five. You may also see pink flamingos. Later, depart for Naivasha.

Hells Gate National Park - Upon arrival in Naivasha, check in at Astorian Grand Hotel. Later, visit Hell’s Gate National Park for a biking safari, where you can see giraffes, zebras, and gazelles. After the ride, return to the park gate and proceed to Lake Naivasha for a one-hour boat ride, enjoying bird watching and spotting hippos. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Naivasha to Samburu National Reserve

Samburu National Reserve - After an early breakfast at the hotel, check out at 6:00 AM and depart for Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch, check in, and have a short rest. Later, enjoy an evening game drive.

Samburu is renowned for its wild semi-arid landscape and abundant wildlife and birdlife. Along with the adjacent Shaba and Buffalo Springs national reserves, Samburu is known for hosting rare Northern-Kenya species (Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, and Somali Ostrich) not found in other popular parks and reserves in Kenya.

Full Day Samburu Reserve

Samburu National Reserve - Start your day with an early morning game drive, offering a prime opportunity to see wildlife at its most active. Return to the camp for breakfast and enjoy a leisurely mid-morning. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive, where you can spot a variety of animals, including the Big Five and other fascinating species.

Samburu to Nairobi

Nairobi - Have an early morning breakfast before departing for Nairobi, with a brief en-route game drive. Continue the journey with an optional lunch stop along the way (at your own expense). Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
