NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Masai Mara National Reserve - An experienced tour guide will collect guests from their hotel, the airport, or their residence. After a brief orientation, the journey to Masai Mara Game Reserve begins, passing through the stunning Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where there will be a stop to admire the breathtaking views of the valley floor. Located in southwestern Kenya, Masai Mara is a wildlife reserve that borders Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. It is famous for its rich wildlife and forms part of the larger Serengeti ecosystem. Guests will arrive at Masai Mara Game Reserve in time for lunch. Following lunch, there will be time to relax before embarking on an afternoon game drive that extends into the evening. Wildlife sightings may include the Big Five (Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Rhino, and Buffalo), as well as Zebra, Cheetah, Giraffe, Impala, and a variety of bird species. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

FULL DAY IN MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Masai Mara National Reserve - At dawn, a full-day game drive at the Masai Mara Game Reserve commences. The focus will be on spotting the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo). Large mammals such as Buffalo, Eland, and Masai Giraffe are easily visible. Other animals include Waterbuck, Impala, Warthog, Hyena, Hyrax, Giraffe, Grant’s Gazelle, and over 400 bird species. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is renowned for hosting one of nature’s most spectacular events: The Great Wildebeest Migration (July-October). This annual migration sees millions of wildebeest and zebras moving from the Serengeti in search of water and pastures, while predators like Hippos and Crocodiles lie in wait, creating a dramatic scene. To enhance the experience, guests can opt for an early morning hot air balloon ride over the plains of Masai Mara Game Reserve. Additionally, an optional cultural visit to a Maasai village is available to learn about Maasai culture and interact with the local community.

MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE TO NAIROBI

Maasai Mara National Reserve - On this day, guests have the option of a hot air balloon ride with a picnic breakfast. Those not participating in this activity will enjoy breakfast at their lodge. An optional visit to a Masai Village can also be arranged in the morning. Departure from Masai Mara by road back to Nairobi is scheduled, with arrival in the late afternoon.
