Arrival in Nairobi

Nairobi - Upon arrival, guests will be greeted at the airport or hotel by a professional English-speaking guide/driver and transported to their hotel in Nairobi for an overnight stay with bed and breakfast included.

Journey from Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Rift Valley Province - At 8:00 AM, guests will be picked up from their Nairobi hotel to begin the drive to Maasai Mara. The journey includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, offering a stunning view of the valley floor.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Arrival at the camp is scheduled in time for lunch. After checking in and enjoying lunch, guests will depart at 4:00 PM for a two-hour game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve, concluding at 6:00 PM. The day ends with a delicious buffet dinner and a restful night at the tented camp.

Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Breakfast is served at 6:30 AM, followed by a full day of game viewing starting at 7:00 AM. The day is dedicated to exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five, hippos, and Nile crocodiles. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed under the shade of a croton tree, overlooking the park’s expansive landscape.

The Mara is renowned for hosting one of nature’s most spectacular events: the Great Migration. This annual migration sees millions of wildebeest and zebra move from the Serengeti in Tanzania in search of water and pasture, followed by savanna predators such as lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Nakuru - After an early breakfast, guests will check out and drive to Nakuru, with lunch en route. Arrival is expected at 5:00 PM, where guests will spend the night and have dinner at the LANET MAT FAM hotel.

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha/Hell’s Gate

Lake Nakuru - An early breakfast is followed by a 7:00 AM departure to the park. This small park is home to magnificent, rare white rhinos, part of the Big Five, and possibly pink flamingos. The game drive lasts three hours, after which guests will drive for one hour to Naivasha at Hell’s Gate National Park.

Hell’s Gate National Park - At Hell’s Gate, guests have the option of a biking safari. Arrival is at 9:00 AM, with activities concluding at 12:30 PM, followed by lunch at a hotel.

Later, enjoy a one-hour evening boat ride on Lake Naivasha for hippo viewing and bird watching.

Lake Naivasha to Namanga Border

Namanga/Arusha to Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara - Guests will drive to Arusha and join a group heading to Manyara National Park.

Manyara is a two-hour drive from Arusha and is a small park suitable for 2 to 3-hour game drives. After lunch, guests will enjoy a game drive until evening.

Lake Manyara National Park is a protected area in Tanzania’s Arusha and Manyara Regions, located between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. Managed by the Tanzania National Parks Authority, it covers 325 km², including approximately 230 km² of lake surface.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, guests will depart for Serengeti. Upon arrival, a game drive will commence en route to the camp.

Additional game drives will take place in the afternoon until late evening.

The Serengeti is famous for the world’s largest animal migration, known as the “Great Migration.” Over 1.7 million wildebeest, 500,000 zebra, and 200,000 antelope migrate from the Ndutu region of the southern Serengeti northward through the “endless plains” to Kenya’s Masai Mara.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Serengeti National Park - An early morning game drive in Serengeti will continue until 1:00 PM. After lunch, guests will depart for Ngorongoro.

Ngorongoro Crater - A game drive will take place en route to Ngorongoro, with an overnight stay at a campsite.

Ngorongoro is located in northern Tanzania and is home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and the “Big Five” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Large herds of wildebeests and zebras traverse its plains during their annual migration. Livestock belonging to the semi-nomadic Maasai tribe graze alongside wild animals. Hominin fossils found in the Olduvai Gorge date back millions of years.

Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park

Ngorongoro - After breakfast, guests will enjoy a game drive and then depart for a safari game drive with a picnic lunch. Departure is after 1:00 PM, heading to Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire National Park - Located in Tanzania’s Manyara Region, Tarangire National Park is named after the Tarangire River, which provides the primary source of fresh water for wildlife during the dry season. The Tarangire Ecosystem is characterized by the long-distance migration of wildebeest and zebras. During the dry season, thousands of animals gather in Tarangire National Park from surrounding wet-season dispersal and calving areas.

Tarangire to Arusha

Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, guests will embark on a game drive until 1:00 PM, then begin the drive to Arusha.

Arusha to Nairobi

Nairobi - After breakfast, guests will board a shuttle to arrive in Nairobi around 3:00 PM.
