Kibera - The tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi at 8:30 am.
The journey takes you along Ngong Road, passing Uchumi Supermarket, and then a left turn near Nakumatt Supermarket leads to Kibera DO headquarters. From there, you will walk down the three-kilometer Main Kibera slum road starting at Bombolulu stage.

- Kibera - The tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi at 8:30 am.
The journey takes you along Ngong Road, passing Uchumi Supermarket, and then a left turn near Nakumatt Supermarket leads to Kibera DO headquarters. From there, you will walk down the three-kilometer Main Kibera slum road starting at Bombolulu stage.
Explore the Soweto Village homesteads and proceed to the Curio (handcrafts) Workshop, where you can observe the creativity of Kibera residents as they craft ornaments from animal bones.
Continue the tour by visiting Nursery schools, and observe the water vendor and shower shop while interacting with local residents as they go about their daily activities.
Turn right past the roadside fish vendors to visit the Biogas plant, a unique facility in Africa that uses human waste to produce Biogas. This Biogas will serve as cooking gas and provide lighting for approximately 200 households once completed and operational.
The tour concludes with a visit to a community-based school, supported by donations from well-wishers, which is a significant highlight of Kibera’s educational initiatives. You will then be escorted back to your vehicle and returned to your hotel or home in Nairobi.
