Ethical Impact: Our company is likely the only one that compensates each participating villager individually. Attendance is tracked by your guide using an online register, and payments are promptly sent to each person via M-Pesa after the visit. Through the Happy Tribe Foundation, a legally registered NGO in Kenya, we sponsor school fees for children from disadvantaged families and support girls escaping early marriage or FGM. Additionally, we provide rainwater storage tanks for the villagers, among other necessities. Your guide will offer information on how to donate and how we communicate the impact of your contribution to you.
Responsible & Sustainable Tourism: We kindly request that you dress and behave modestly during your visit. If you smoke, please move away from the group and the villagers, and ensure cigarette butts are disposed of properly. Photos taken in the village should be for personal memories only and not for commercial use. You are welcome to post them on your social media to promote the tribe.
