Nairobi – Masai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Guests will be picked up from the airport and then proceed to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The journey includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint via Narok town. Arrival is scheduled in time for lunch. Guests can relax until 3:30 – 4:00 PM before embarking on an afternoon game drive in this park, which serves as the northern extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park.

Masai Mara - No game drive on this day, after breakfast return to Nairobi

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After an early breakfast, enjoy a full day of game drives within the reserve. The Masai Mara is renowned for its black-maned lions, elephants, and buffalo, which are three of the ‘big five.’ Spotting the other two requires some luck, but the park’s animal concentration and abundance are unparalleled. A picnic lunch will be provided near the river, where there is a chance to see crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game such as antelopes, wildebeest, zebra, and Masai giraffe can be observed, along with scavengers like hyenas and vultures. In the late afternoon, guests can opt for additional activities at an extra cost, such as a nature walk or visiting Masai villages to experience the nomadic lifestyle.
