Nairobi - Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be greeted and transported to your hotel, where you will prepare for your safari adventure the following day.

Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - A transfer driver/guide will welcome you at the airport and escort you to your Nairobi hotel. The next morning at 7 am, your safari driver guide will meet you for a trip briefing before departing for the Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. The journey includes a drive through the impressive western walls of the Great Rift Valley. Your initial Mara experience will be an afternoon game drive in this remarkable area. Overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge or a comparable lodge.

On safari in the Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Enjoy a full day of game viewing. A picnic lunch will be served at a hippo pool in the bush, after which you may choose to continue your safari. Overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge or a similar lodge.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

Masai Mara National Reserve - Rise early to take advantage of the prime time for game viewing. Predators are concluding their nocturnal hunts, and prey animals begin to relax and become more active as the sun rises. Therefore, your final game drive will occur before a late breakfast at your lodge. After checking out, you will be driven back to Nairobi, marking the end of your Masai Mara adventure.
