An eye-opening walking tour of Nairobi CBD - Highly recommended walking tour which allowed me a glimpse into the lives of street kids in downtown Nairobi. King and Typhoon did a fantastic job in showing me their former “home”, shared their life stories and the second chance and dreams they’re pursuing. This tour provides a unique way to experience another side of the city. I felt 100% safe at all times. Thank you to Nai Nami and the wonderful guides!

An eye opening tour of Downtown town Nairobi - We met with King, our initial guide for the tour of Downtown. As we walked and he explained the life of some of the most vulnerable in the community and life in both the slums and on the streets, we weee joined by more of the team; Quick, Typhoon , Tsunami, and others. Their stories were genuine, heart rending and a window into the lives of over a million people in Nairobi. We heard of families broken up due to lack of work and money to support themselves, life on the streets and in jail, and stealing to eat and live. This is a must do for anyone wanting to see a sine do Nairobi and also see the power of these young men to change their lives and empower themselves.

Incredible Experience - Incredible experience walking around downtown Nairobi and seeing the beautiful chaos on the streets, an experience that wouldn't have been possible without this tour. Tsunami or guide was great sharing stories of the tough life growing up on those streets. He took us to some great spots for video & photo opportunities, in fact he was always encouraging us to use our camera to capture as much as we could. We stopped at a local bar for a beer overlooking the streets, which was a great moment. Can't recommend this tour enough. Tsunami was brilliant.

An amazing experience - It was an amazing experience! Great opportunity to know the Nairobi and the people. Great thanks to Quick, King, Typhonn and all friends! Unforgettable experience and your sincerity and friendship. It was also good memory to stay in the empty bus for waiting for the Uber in the pouring rain! Thank you!

Best Way to Experience and Really See Nairobi! - Incredible way for our family of 4 to experience Nairobi, outside of just standard museums and typical tourist venues. We went with our teenage children and our guides Typhoon and Quick were incredible. The local food at the end of the tour was the cherry on top to a memorable outing. We felt extremely safe the entire tour (we were also joined by several members of their staff) and thoroughly enjoyed experiencing Nairobi in such a unique way. Such inspirational people! these young men are! An absolute MUST DO when you are in Nairobi!

An enlightening, eye opening experience - Truly a unique look at the streets of Nairobi from those who have existed in its slums and relate the daily experiences. Not as intense as a visit to a Brazilian favela, this takes you through the controlled chaos that is Kenya’s capital. Speed and King were my guide/escort and provided a very informative 2+ hour experience that included a very tasty lunch of Kenyan cuisine. Highly recommended!

Nice local experience getting to know Nairobi - My tour guide Preist is very knowledgeable about the city. He included his personal story when exploring different corners in Nairobi. He took me to places that I wouldn’t have the chance to visit. It’s also very fun to see him running into friends on street and having nice conversations. We ended the tour at a local cafe where I had the chance to taste local dishes.

It was okay - Nai Nami is doing a great tour but recently my friends didnt have a good experience as they didnt have lunch as they had expected and paid for and they were asked to buy the street kids food even though they never saw them eat the food. They sadly didnt have a good experience.
