Top tier Nairobi city tour - If you’re visiting Nairobi and considering a city tour — stop searching and book this one. This was hands down one of the most outstanding tours I have ever experienced. Our tour guide Esther delivered a tour that was not only incredibly detailed and comprehensive, but also deeply authentic. She didn’t just show us Nairobi — she immersed us in it. From walking through vibrant local markets to navigating the city using local transportation, every moment felt real, intentional, and thoughtfully curated. What truly set this experience apart was Esther’s knowledge and passion. She explained the history, culture, and everyday life of Nairobi in a way that was engaging, insightful, and easy to understand. You can tell she genuinely cares about giving her guests a meaningful experience — not just a checklist of sights. The tour also included an authentic Kenyan lunch, which was another highlight and added to the overall richness of the experience. This wasn’t just a tour — it was an experience. It was elaborate, unique, and exceptionally well-executed. I’ve done many tours around the world, and this one ranks at the very top. Because of Esther, my husband Kevin and I truly had an authentic experience — one that stands above any other tour we’ve ever done. It was unmatched. If you want to truly experience Nairobi — not just see it — book this tour, you will not regret it.

A great local Kenyan experience - Vicky was a great guide. It was fascinating being amongst the local life of Nairobi. Eating local food in a local restaurant was interesting, and the food was good - nice to know I was eating a traditional Kenyan meal. Travelling in a local bus was also a "fun" experience. Cars and people everywhere...its hard to describe....you have to experience it

An outstanding experience in Nairobi! - We had an absolutely wonderful day with Vickie as our guide. She explained everything clearly and thoughtfully, and even took us to an authentic local restaurant where we enjoyed a traditional Kenyan lunch together. Vickie is not only very pleasant but also highly confident in guiding visitors through the various parts of the city. We even had the chance to ride a matatu—the iconic Kenyan minibuses—which was an experience in itself! I highly recommend this tour. Vickie is patient, personable, and flexible, making the day both enjoyable and memorable. Truly a top-notch guide!

Couple Trip - For the price, we couldn’t believe how much Starvel Safaris offered! From the friendly guides to the stunning wildlife sightings, everything was well beyond our expectations. We saw elephants, lions, giraffes, Buffaloes, Wildebeest, Zebras, Elephants, hippos and crocodiles! The entire experience felt like a luxury safari, even though it was budget-friendly. Couldn’t recommend them more!

A cool way to learn about Nairobi as a local - We had a great time with Caroline. Loved the Nairobi walking tour and Caroline's lived in experience. Caroline was super safety conscious and was constantly keeping an eye on us to make sure we weren't getting behind. Just visited one mall. Maybe that was the expectation. Two Rivers was just a visit to a tourist market. Loved the crazy local transport there and back and also our lunch at the end of the tour.
