• Kibera - Guests will be picked up from their Nairobi hotel and taken to Kibera Slums, traveling via Ngong Road. The tour includes a visit to the Soweto Village homesteads and a stop at the Curio (handcrafts) Workshop, where visitors can observe the innovative creation of ornaments from animal bones by Kibera residents. The tour continues with visits to nursery schools, a water vendor, and a shower shop, providing opportunities to interact with local residents as they go about their daily activities. Visitors will also have the chance to enter a typical Kibera home, where they are warmly welcomed and can ask questions about daily life in Kibera.
• Bomas of Kenya - Lunch will be available at Bomas of Kenya, Tamambo, or a similar restaurant (at guests’ own expense), followed by entry to the auditorium for cultural dances. The tribal cultural shows, held daily from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, showcase tribal talent in music, dance, theatre/drama, fashion shows, poetry/recitals, and comedies.
