• Karen Blixen Museum - Situated at the foot of the Ngong Hills, in an area now known as Karen, is the home of Karen Blixen, also known as Isaak Dinesen, the renowned author whose memoirs inspired the popular film “Out of Africa.” This home is preserved as a museum, allowing visitors to step back in time and gain insight into the life of this extraordinary and brave woman. The museum displays furniture, artifacts, and photographs from her time as a pioneering coffee farmer. A guided tour is available around this original farmhouse.
