Karen Blixen Museum - Situated at the foot of the Ngong Hills, in an area now known as Karen, is the home of Karen Blixen, also known as Isaak Dinesen, the renowned author whose memoirs inspired the popular film “Out of Africa.” This home is preserved as a museum, allowing visitors to step back in time and gain insight into the life of this extraordinary and brave woman. The museum displays furniture, artifacts, and photographs from her time as a pioneering coffee farmer. A guided tour is available around this original farmhouse.

Bomas of Kenya - Bomas of Kenya offers an afternoon excursion to the country’s most vibrant cultural center, located in the Nairobi suburb of Langata. A Boma is a traditional homestead, and these are set up as a museum to represent Kenya’s 40 ethnic groups, showcasing their cultures and traditions. Programs featuring traditional dances from various tribes are presented with outstanding performances. The dancers conclude with an energetic display of acrobatics and tumbling. The shows commence at 14:30 and continue until 16:30.
