• Karen Blixen Museum - Located at the base of the Ngong Hills, in the area now known as Karen, is the home of Karen Blixen, also known as “Isaak Diensen,” the renowned author whose memoirs inspired the acclaimed film “Out of Africa.” Preserved as a museum, it allows visitors to step back in time and gain insight into the life of this extraordinary and brave woman. The museum displays furniture, artifacts, and photographs from her time as a pioneering coffee farmer. A guided tour is available around this original farmhouse.
