• Nairobi National Park - Begin your day with a complimentary early morning hotel pick-up. Following a brief introduction, head to Nairobi National Park for an early morning game drive. The park is home to over 100 species of animals, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, rhinos, zebras, gazelles, impalas, elands, wildebeests, hyenas, jackals, civet cats, and hundreds of bird species, making it ideal for bird watchers.

Spotting animals is relatively easy, and be sure to look out for the white and black rhinos, a highlight of your game drive. Tracking lions may take some time, but they will eventually be found. Hippos can be seen at the river or in the park’s many man-made earth dams.

After a thorough tour, leave the park at 10 am and head to David Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage, located on the edge of Nairobi National Park. Since its inception, the project has hand-reared over 150 orphaned baby elephants, often victims of poaching, and helps reintegrate them into the wilds of Tsavo National Park in eastern Kenya.
