• KOBE TOUGH Beads & Leather - The next stop is the Kobe Bead Factory, a pottery company renowned for creating some of the world’s most exquisite beads. Visitors will be guided through all stages of production, from start to finish. This unique factory employs single mothers from underprivileged neighborhoods, providing them with a livelihood to support their families. The pottery, ceramic, and bead factory exports its beautiful gifts and souvenirs worldwide. A gift shop is available, stocking some of their creations. Please note that the workshop is closed on Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday, but the gift shop remains open seven days a week.

The center’s primary mission is to protect and assist in the breeding of the endangered Rothschild Giraffe.
