• Nairobi National Park - Nairobi National Park, also known as Kifaru Ark, meaning “Rhinoceros Sanctuary,” is one of Kenya’s most successful rhinoceros sanctuaries. It is among the few parks where visitors can reliably see a black rhinoceros in its natural environment. Begin your day with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or vocational home. After a brief orientation, head to Nairobi National Park, where you’ll experience three distinct areas: forested regions, savanna grasslands, and valleys, all from the comfort of our open-roof tour van or Land Cruiser. The park is renowned for its open grass plains, which are home to a diverse array of wildlife, including the famous Big Five and the endangered black rhinos, as well as over 100 bird species. The distant skyscrapers provide a nostalgic city backdrop that contrasts beautifully with nature’s splendor. After an incredible 4 to 5-hour game drive, it’s time to visit the Elephant Orphanage.
• Giraffe Centre - Following your visit to the Elephant Orphanage, head to the Giraffe Centre to see the unique Rothschild Giraffe. Learn about why they are endangered and the efforts the center is making to protect them. Conclude your visit by feeding the giraffes up close under the supervision of a trained staff member.
