Best Historical Tpur - Really great tour to get a history lesson of Nairobi and also learn about the modern city. I loved the bead factory. It was fascinating speaking with the women of Nairobi. At the end you visit the convention center where you get a 360 rooftop view of the entire city. Might I add my driver was so knowledgeable. We had great conversation and I leaned so much.

Informative and cultural eye opening - Tim was an excellent tour guide! He knew all the best spots and we learned a lot from him about Nairobi and Kenya history. When booking this tour, ask for Tim! We felt safe with him while walking around the city as well.

Relaxing Half Day Tour - We were looking for something to fill our last day in Kenya as our flight home wasn’t until late evening. We arrived from Masai Mara and Obed picked us up from Wilson Airport. First, he took us to a really good local restaurant with excellent Kenyan food. Then we went to a few shopping locations as well as learning about jewelry making and wood carving. It was really neat to see the whole process from start to finish. Our final stop was the top of the conference center for some spectacular views of Nairobi. Obed the brought us to the Jomo Kenyatta Airport in time for our flight home. Obed was very knowledgeable about the city and we really enjoyed spending the day with him.

Lots of history, geese views, and shopping - Tim is such I great guide! He provided all kinds of background information about Kenya, Nairobi, and Eastern Africa from current up to like very early history. It was a lovely walk through Narobi and then drive to nice artisan local stores. You couldn’t ask for more.

Amazing personalised tour! - We could not have had a better tour and your guide. We had read so many reviews about being dragged around shops that tourists weren’t interested in so we were determined to have our own walking tour around Nairobi and some company to go to the Maasai Market. And that is exactly what we got. We explained what we wanted in advance by sharing the list of sites from one of the walking tours we found online but said we wanted to add to that some company at the Market so we could manage the traders.
Our guide was amazing. The two of us strolled around with him while he explained everything. He didn’t hurry but took his time and he even brought us up and down the VIP lift in the KICC as he knew everyone and helped us avoid queues. He also took pictures for us.
At the end he took us for a drive to Karen for lunch and when we said that we weren’t interested in any other shopping or museums he brought us back to the hotel.
He was 5* and would definitely recommend.

on the fly - The tourguide was very flexable and adapted to things on the move. if i wanted to go to a specific place, he would take me. When he would describe where we were going and if I informed him that I had been to that place on a different tour the previous day, he would come up with a different place to go to that added to the experience of my trip.

Introduction to Nairobi - Not as much historical presentation as I had hoped. Our guide was great, very kind and informative but you had to ask the questions. Driving in Nairobi is very tricky so definitely we would not have been able to do it yourself. Shopping was also better than the local stores in town.

An afternoon in Nairobi - Nairobi often serves as a gateway to the National Parks of Kenya without visitors stopping in the city and learning about it. This tour provided an introduction to Nairobi. Tim was a very good guide who gave an excellent abbreviated overview of Kenya's history. He also explained the layout of the city with its landmarks from the top of the Jomo Kenyata International Centre. It was educative to learn about the bead making process at a Centre that we visited. Overall, an enjoyable afternoon

A classy shopping tour - Our guide Obek picked us up early after we arrived earlier than we expected. His communication was excellent.
The tour itself was exactly as described in the itinerary, we got to watch the women make the beads at the women's empowerment company, which was a real treat. Then visit the shop afterwards. Note on this the shop was all in dollars which we didn't expect and only had shillings. So we handed over shillings and got dollars I'm change. No major drama but just a heads up. Next was the woodwork shop where we saw the guys carving the wooden objects that again we could buy in the shop but the real treat was the antiques place just room after room of beautiful items for sale. After the shops we went to the conference centre, pay 1000KES by card as venue is cashless, to get the elevator to the top and once up the view of the city is amazing. Obek talked to us on our drive about the history of Kenya and Nairobi and it was fascinating to hear all about the different tribes. He was friendly and answered all of our questions. Would recommend this tour if you're into your shopping and don't want the hassle of walking round the streets of Nairobi.
