• Kenyatta International Conference Center - Our next stop is the iconic 28-story building located along Harambee Avenue in Nairobi’s City Square. The skyscraper’s rooftop offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the city center and its horizons, allowing one to truly appreciate its beauty and intricate design.
  We will then proceed to the Nairobi viewpoint at Uhuru Park, a recreational area for ordinary Kenyans, to learn about its historical significance to the Kenyan Nation-State.
  Chronologically, we will make our way into the Central Business District. As we walk, your guide will share real-time tales of Nairobi’s history, both pre- and post-independence. We will visit various landmarks, including KICC and Kipande House, among others.
• KOBE TOUGH Beads & Leather - This pottery company creates some of the world’s most beautiful beads. You will witness firsthand all the stages from start to finish. It is a unique factory that employs single mothers from impoverished neighborhoods, providing them with a livelihood to support their families. It serves as a women empowerment center for the community. The center was founded by women who previously worked for Kazuri Beads Factory, which closed during the pandemic. This opportunity allowed them to continue providing for their families.
• Utamaduni Craft Centre - Utamaduni is the best African craft shop in Nairobi and a must-visit on the way to some of the exciting venues in Nairobi’s green suburb of Karen/Langata, known for the famous writer Karen Blixen’s original farm with stunning views of the Ngong Hills. Include a visit to this unique craft house during your Nairobi visit.

The shop, a converted Kikuyu house with 18 shops, is a treasure trove of African crafts, antiques, and art, with friendly staff ready to assist and help with packing or shipping if needed.
