Great Experience! - All I can say is : take the time to visit the center. What a wonderful experience to be able to feed these majestic animals a treat and to be so close up to them. Stay for the short but insightful lecture given by the game warden, read the available information. What a wonderful and educational experience. The entrance fee is very reasonable. Well worth your time!

Ask for Stephen Mutuku - Had the absolute pleasure of being guided by Stephen Mutuku during our visit to the Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Center, and around Nairobi. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and patient, but he also became more of a friend than just a guide. He made sure we were comfortable every step of the way, shared stories and insights that brought the experience to life, and made our visit truly memorable. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth stood out—and I genuinely hope more people get to meet and be guided by him. Highly recommended—if you’re visiting Nairobi, ask for Stephen by name. Thank you again, brother. You made our day.

A very enjoyable day out. - I enjoyed my day out. I love to see the elephants. We went to the Karen Blixen museum and not the Bomas of Kenya. I had a personal driver/guide who drove very well and had information about the places we went to. I was taken to a very nice place for lunch - just a shame it rained on and off all day so I had to sit inside.

We got the best Tour Package and a Driver by the John Iborn - It was a charming tour of Nairobi, but we missed the Bomas. It was under renovation, so it was close to the public. Our Driver was exceptional; His name is John Iborn

Best. Layover. Ever. - Peter was an amazing guide. He turned a layover into its own exciting trip. He was knowledgeable, responsive, and kind. The tour company got in touch with me early to discuss my pickup and was responsive when contacted. The giraffes were my favorite, but all the stops were nice for a quick day tour of Nairobi.

Nice day - Our guide was Peter. He did a good job. My travel companion and I thoroughly enjoyed feeding the giraffes & petting the baby elephants. We didn’t see the rhinos. The morning rush hour traffic was awful. This led to us having to hurry to leave the giraffe center so there was no time to look around the gift shop. I left my sandal shoes in one of the cars and Peter went back to get them. Bead factory was nice. We’re all about supporting women! Welcome song and dance was fun! However I think it’d be nice if they provided to option to paint or make your own beads/ jewelry. I had a whole blast at the Bomas dancing with the dancers! The Bomas are truly not to be missed.

Giraffes & Elephants! - The Giraffe Center and the elephant rescue were definitely worth it — amazing! The Kobe bead factory was nice for gifts. I would’ve skipped the dancing — it was under a tent in a parking lot.
