Nairobi to Masai Mara

Masai Mara National Reserve - Upon arrival at the airport, guests will be greeted by our airport representative and travel to the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve via Narok Town. Upon arrival, a game drive will commence. Check-in and lunch will be at Zebra Plains Camp. In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive before returning to the lodge/camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara Full Day

Masai Mara National Reserve - Enjoy breakfast at the camp and prepare for a full-day game drive with packed lunch boxes. Embark on an afternoon game drive in the reserve until sunset. A visit to a Maasai village is possible this afternoon, with payment made on-site. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at Zebra Plains Camp. The Mara is a hilly, humid, and fertile region, traversed by the Mara and Talek rivers, which are home to crocodiles and hippos and flow year-round. The riverbanks are lined with dense forests that gradually transition to bush and grassland. The plentiful water and abundant food supply contribute to the Masai Mara, an extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, having the largest population of wild animals in Africa. From July to November, witness the spectacular annual migration of vast herds of gnus, antelopes, and zebras.

Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha - After breakfast, travel to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, enjoy an optional boat ride, followed by lunch and check-in at Lake Naivasha Resort. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at the resort.

Lake Naivasha is a stunning freshwater lake, bordered by thick papyrus. The lake and its surroundings are rich in natural resources, and the fertile soil and water supply have made it one of Kenya’s top agricultural areas. Much of the lake is encircled by forests of the yellow-barked Acacia Xanthophlea, known as the yellow fever tree. These forests are teeming with birdlife, making Naivasha a world-class birding destination. The lake’s waters attract a wide variety of wildlife to its shores. Giraffes roam among the acacia, buffaloes wallow in the swamps, and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops, while the lake’s large hippo population rests in the shallows during the day.

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park - After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch. Refresh and prepare for an afternoon game drive.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Nairobi - Enjoy early morning game drives at Amboseli National Park. Afterwards, have breakfast and drive to Nairobi. Enjoy a late lunch, a city tour, souvenir shopping, and later, an airport drop-off.

This 5-day comfort safari offers an opportunity to explore the highlights of the Northern Safari Circuit.
