Up Close with the Wild: A Safari I’ll Never Forget - What a way to start the day! We were lucky enough to catch a group of lionesses and their cubs casually strolling down the road—just walking like it was their runway. It was such an amazing sight that every car around us stopped, and people were hanging out of windows to snap photos. One of the cubs got left behind for a moment, which made for one of the coolest parts of the trip. We later saw how it communicated with its mother from a distance, and honestly, it was incredible to witness that kind of instinct and connection in action. Seeing black and white rhinos in person was another eye-opener. I never realized how different they actually look until they were right in front of us. It’s one thing to read about them—but standing there, seeing the size, the shape, the energy… it hit differently. And then there were the zebras and impalas. Watching them move together, helping each other stay alert—mind-blowing. Before this trip, I had no idea that impalas were antelopes, or that "antelope" is actually a group that includes animals like gazelles. I ended up learning so much without even realizing it. The hippo and crocodile pond was wild too—literally. Just seeing these massive animals chilling (well, kind of) in the same water was both fascinating and kind of intense. You could feel the tension, but they just made it work somehow. Everything about this tour felt surreal. It was one unforgettable moment after another, and somehow, we wrapped it all up just in time to catch our flight out of Kenya. It felt like the trip timed itself perfectly. No doubt in my mind—we’re coming back. I already can’t wait.

Kenya Vacation - Review: No cause to regret embarking on the trip. The Kenyan trip was filled with exposure to a new world and nature. The Kenyan trip taught us about the greatness of God, human ways of life, and culture. In Kenya, they have about 900 different types of birds while we have about 2.16m species of birds in the world. We saw the venomous and non-venomous snakes. This is nothing but God's greatness. Different people with different types of culture ranging from the way they build their houses, the traditional dance amidst others. The Safari trip was topnotch. Seeing live animals that are not tamed is a life experience that can never be forgotten. Seeing a live lion, giraffe, impala, antelopes, hippopotamus, and some other animals with unknown names makes the trip a memorable one. The live experience is incomparable to visiting a zoo. The trip can be likened to the Natgeo wild view, which we watch on the TV. Our experience at the carnivore restaurant leaves us with an unforgettable memory. The mode of service alongside the birthday song (Jambo jambo) rendered to the birthday celebrants was quite impressive. For the Kenyan trip, I'll say that the tour guide, Mr. Esbon is the best man for such a trip. His level of experience, his mode of operation, and the way he relates made the trip easy, smooth, and enjoyable.

Disappointing and mediocre - The driver picked me up an hour late and offered to contact him for the next visits and I was the victim of a scam, he took me on Sunday 21/09 to see Les Éléphants, it was a visit from 11am to 12pm, we arrived at 11:35am and at the end he asked me $100 cash without receipt 🤷‍♂️😭
