Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a non-profit wildlife sanctuary located in Laikipia County, Central Kenya. Positioned on the equator, just west of Nanyuki, it lies between the Aberdare foothills and Mount Kenya. The conservancy is dedicated to wildlife preservation, offering a haven for great apes, and generating revenue through wildlife tourism and related ventures, which are reinvested into conservation efforts and community development.
