- Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage - Caretakers introduce each baby elephant orphan, sharing heartwarming stories of their rescues while the playful calves drink milk, roll in mud, wrestle with friends, or take dust baths. The one-hour session (11 a.m. to 12 noon) showcases the Trust’s essential work in nurturing these young elephants until they can return to wild herds.
- Giraffe Centre - Visitors to the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi will have the opportunity to see endangered Rothschild giraffes up close from elevated observation platforms. The site includes a peaceful 95-acre nature sanctuary perfect for birdwatching and spotting warthogs or bushbucks along wooded trails. Educational displays highlight giraffe conservation efforts, providing insights into the habitat and protection of these magnificent animals.

Most fun and professional experience 🦁🦏🦒🦛🦓🐊 - We cannot recommend Julius and the Safari experience we booked enough (Nairobi National Park, Sheldrik Wildlife Trust and Giraffe Center). For context: we also took the uber Safari in Nairobi National Park so we can compare the two experiences pretty well.
First of all, the communication beforehand was amazing. We were able to reschedule because we missed our flight to Nairobi even though it was less than 24hours before.
Julius picked us up in time, was super friendly in an easy-going way, and very knowledgeable. You could tell he loves his job and has 20years of experience. Afterwards he stayed an hour longer than obligated to, to make sure we had a proper lunch (great recommendation too) and dropped us at the airport for our next flight (even though he did not have to do that and otherwise would have been home an hour earlier).
In the uber safari you got what you paid for, a driver who simply drove you through the national park. In the safari with Julius we got a professional guide who knew all the best spots, had all the secret tips, answered all the questions and made it an unforgettable experience while being kind, charming, funny and an expert in his job.
The only regret we have is not booking other parks in Kenia through Julius but we will be back ;)
I would also like to add that I do not normally review things and I am German, so not easy to impress, which is why this review really comes from the heart. Thank you Julius for the experience of a lifetime!

Excellent!!! - Our safari tour with Peter was nothing short of incredible. From the moment the journey began, his kindness, patience, and genuine passion for wildlife made the entire experience unforgettable. Peter is extremely knowledgeable, he doesn’t just point out animals, he explains their behavior, habitat, and the stories behind the landscape in a way that brings everything to life.
He created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere while still ensuring we had the best possible sightings. His sharp eye and deep understanding of the park meant we saw far more than we expected.
I highly recommend booking a safari tour with Peter. His professionalism, warmth, and expertise elevate to a whole new level. A perfect 5/5.

Recommend 100% to everyone!!! - I had such a wonderful experience with this company and I 100% recommend them to anyone considering booking a tour in Kenya. I travelled solo and felt safe at all times, which for me was incredibly important. My guide, Titus, was kind, patient and extremely professional. He made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire day and was always happy to answer my questions. I truly appreciated how attentive and supportive he was! I also made my reservation at the very last minute, and they still managed to organise everything perfectly. The whole experience was amazing, with them being friendly and respectful.

Not to be missed! - If you have a free day in Nairobi, this tour is a must.
As the description suggests, this tour will take you to Nairobi National Park (there's a separate $80 entrance fee for the park that the guide will help process for you when you get there) to start with. And then, inside the park, there is an elephant orphanage (Sheldrick) that always has a show at 11 AM. Entry to that is a separate $20 fee (cash only). After that you leave the park and drive to Karen, to the Giraffe Center, where you will get to feed the giraffes.
This tour was excellent! Very professional from start to finish. Julius, who runs the operation, is responsive and clear in his communication re instructions. Evans was my guide and made everything easy--he suggested we leave early, and sure enough, we were first to get to the park. He was so full of facts about the animals and the park; it was such a joy to learn from him. He took into account that I had just come from Samburu--so he pointed out distinctions between Samburu and Nairobi. He is so knowledgable, and despite being an experienced guide he clearly still enjoys what he does--we both took such pleasure at just sitting quietly with the big cats that he so expertly found.
He also accommodated my curiosity and took me on an unscheduled visit to Kobe Tough bead and leather shop--all because I expressed curiosity about traditional bead-making.

Nairobi layover national park visit - Our driver and guide Peter was very good, he was there waiting for us outside of departures, he was very informative about all the animals and birds we saw on our drive.
It was very cold in the morning, luckily we had just flown in from London so had warm clothing.
The elephant orphanage was very good and the Giraffe centre was very informative and we got to hand feed a couple of giraffes.

Park is amazing, thank you! - First time to Africa. Park and excursion well worth our time and Julius was a fantastic guide! We got to see animals I never thought I would seen in their natural habitat. Excellent experience and worth the price, thank you so much!

The experience could not... - The experience could not have been better. Julius knows his stuff and if you are a bit of a nerd he is the guide for you. His personal interest in the wildlife and personalableness meant this was a great day out. An interested, knowledgeable guide that is relaxed and good fun is the holy grail. The private tour was absolutely worth the flexibility. Can't recommend highly enough.
