Nairobi - Lake Naivasha - Crescent Island - Lake Nakuru

Lake Naivasha - At 7:00 am, the Africa Kenya Safaris driver/guide will collect you in a private 4 x 4 Safari Jeep for a pleasant and picturesque journey along the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The route offers views of the impressive escarpment walls.

There will be stops to relax and appreciate the vast natural landscape.

Upon reaching Lake Naivasha, enjoy a delightful sailing safari across this freshwater lake, passing by hippos and spotting pelicans, cormorants, and possibly some antelope grazing by the shore.

Next, visit nearby Crescent Island for a guided walking tour of this distinctive private reserve. This is an excellent opportunity to get close to peacefully grazing zebra, buffalo, giraffe, impala, and gazelle.

The third park of the day is Lake Nakuru – a visual delight with the lake surrounded by acacia forest, towering rocky escarpments, waterfalls, and wooded hills. The bird and wildlife diversity is equally impressive – pelicans, kingfishers, storks, herons, eagles.

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - An early start for a game viewing drive around the park, followed by a journey to the Masai Mara National Reserve.

There will be stops along the way to relax and enjoy the scenery as you enter Masai territory.

Arriving at the reserve in the afternoon, enjoy lunch amidst the rolling hills and golden grasslands of this magnificent park. The Masai Mara is home to thousands, sometimes hundreds of thousands, of herding wildlife traversing its timeless plains.

Embark on the first of many game drives during the three days in this renowned reserve. If there are any special requests, please share them with the driver/guide, who will be delighted to make your park experience unforgettable.

Full Day at Masai Mara Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Start the day early for a full day at the park, with as many game drives as desired.

During the Great Migration season (June – October), witness an endless stream of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles entering the park over the Mara River.

At any time of the year, discover the region’s vast array of wildlife, especially the big cats. The park also hosts buffalo, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, and countless other wildlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Mara River, the site of the animal crossing, and home to hippos and waiting crocodiles.

For unique experiences, consider optional activities like a cultural encounter with the local Maasai people. Visit their nearby village, meet the original inhabitants of these lands, and learn about their herding lifestyle.

Masai Mara - Nairobi

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Rise early for a pre-breakfast game drive to maximize wildlife viewing. By now, you’ve likely seen plenty of wildlife, but there are always new vistas and more wildlife to discover.

Enjoy a safari breakfast at the accommodation, followed by a final game drive as you exit the park, heading back to Nairobi.

On the return journey, pause to enjoy the views and lunch at a scenic spot.

Expect to arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon.
