• Hell’s Gate National Park - Depart from your Nairobi hotel at 7 am and journey to Hell’s Gate National Park, pausing at viewpoints to admire the breathtaking Great Rift Valley escarpment. Hell’s Gate is one of Kenya’s smaller national parks, which can be explored on foot or by bicycle. Arrive at Hell’s Gate around mid-morning and begin a two-hour biking tour within the park. Alternatively, driving is also permitted. Wildlife commonly seen here includes bushbucks, dik-diks, giraffes, gazelles, gnus, hartebeests, impalas, klipspringers, buffaloes, hyraxes, zebras, hyenas, jackals, mongooses, baboons, monkeys, and porcupines, among others. The park has historically been a significant habitat for the rare lammergeyer vultures. At 11 am, visit the gorges for an hour to capture stunning views of the gorge’s narrow land formations, where you can walk beneath them. Then proceed to Lake Naivasha.
• Lake Naivasha - At 1 pm, enjoy lunch (at your own expense, available for purchase). At 2 pm, take a leisurely boat ride on Lake Naivasha (if this option is selected), where you can observe local wildlife such as hippos, buffalo, fish eagles, pelicans, and more for an hour. Conclude the tour with a drive back to Nairobi, arriving around 6 pm.
