Nairobi to Hell’s Gate National Park to Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha - Depart from Nairobi early in the morning and head towards Hell’s Gate National Park. Upon arrival, choose your adventure: either embark on a safari vehicle game drive or enjoy a 7-kilometer bike ride through the park (approximately 3 hours in total). Both activities include a walking safari, allowing you to experience the gorge views up close. Along the way, expect to encounter zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and a variety of bird species. Enjoy lunch at Fishermen’s Camp, then spend the afternoon on Lake Naivasha with a boat ride. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at the camp.

Lake Naivasha to Crescent Island to Nairobi

Jomo Kenyatta International Airport - After breakfast, proceed to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, located on a peninsula on Lake Naivasha’s eastern side. Access the island via a short boat trip from the mainland or drive through the Horse Riding Complex. With no predators present, animals roam freely, allowing you to easily spot giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeest, zebras, and impalas. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted with over 200 species recorded on the island. From the island, you can also observe numerous hippos in the water. Enjoy lunch, then return to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
