Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Viewpoint - At 8:00 AM, the operator will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi city center to begin the journey to Maasai Mara. The drive includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, offering a stunning view of the valley floor.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Lunch will be enjoyed en route. In the afternoon, after checking in, embark on a game drive in the Mara Reserve. Return to the camp for a delicious buffet dinner, followed by a restful night at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

The Masai Mara Reserve is Kenya’s most popular tourist destination, situated in the Great Rift Valley, primarily consisting of open grassland. Wildlife is most abundant on the reserve’s western escarpment. It is considered the crown jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest migration, involving over 1.5 million animals, occurs from July to November. Visitors are almost guaranteed to see the Big Five. The extraordinary wildebeest migration, a spectacular event unique to Maasai Mara, is a world wonder.

The Mara is home to perhaps the most spectacular natural event: the great migration. This annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) is in search of water and pasture, followed by the savanna’s predators – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After an early breakfast, check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi. Enjoy a brief stop at the Maasai Village for a cultural experience, learning about the Masai community and interacting with the local Masai people as you leave Maasai Mara. Then, continue the drive to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at the city center or your hotel within the city center.
