Namib Desert - Guests are collected at 9 am from any hotel or lodge in Windhoek and travel south to the renowned Sossusvlei via the picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass. A stop at the viewpoint offers a chance to appreciate the vast panorama of the Namib. Along the way, enjoy lunch at Solitaire Oasis.

Upon arrival at the lodge, guests can unwind and take in the stunning views of the Namib Desert.

Dead Vlei and Sossusvlei

Sossusvlei - At sunrise, the journey continues through the Sesriem Gate to the breathtaking Sossusvlei. The adventure begins with a climb up the scenic Dune 45, offering a chance to experience the beauty and vastness of the orange-hued landscape. An off-road drive leads to the surreal Dead Vlei, a vast desert pan where ancient, dried-up acacias stand silently in this impressive, open-air gallery. For those interested, climbing “Big Daddy” or “Big Mama” is an option. The 360-degree panoramic views of the “Sand Sea” are truly remarkable! Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei are among the most photogenic locations on the planet!

After lunch, the tour visits Sesriem Canyon and Elim Dune.

Along the way, there is the opportunity to spot occasional wildlife, such as ostriches, oryx, bat-eared foxes, springboks, possibly cheetahs, and various birds that inhabit the desert. In the afternoon, guests can relax in the tranquil atmosphere of Namib.

Recommended optional activities include a helicopter flight over the dunes.

Return to Windhoek

Windhoek - After breakfast, the journey back to Windhoek begins through the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass, arriving in the capital before lunch.
