Start the day early with a 6am pickup from a centrally-located hotel in Nairobi, and embark on a 3.5-hour journey to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Enjoy the scenic drive through coffee and tea plantations. The first stop is the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a haven for chimpanzees from West and Central Africa. Discover the stories of some of the 38 chimpanzees residing in the sanctuary’s natural habitats and observe them as they gather at a feeding platform. Proceed to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy for a thrilling game drive across the expansive plains, home to a diverse array of rare wildlife including wild dogs, zebras, cheetahs, and hartebeest, along with the “Big Five”: lion, Cape buffalo, African elephant, leopard, and rhinoceros.
