The Sonoma Food Tour offers an engaging “lunch” experience around the picturesque Sonoma Plaza. Participants will enjoy a variety of culinary treats, ranging from a California Mexican eatery to beloved local specialties, including cheeses, olive oil, chocolates, and a tasting of 3-4 wines. These delicious samples are carefully selected from locally-owned businesses, providing an authentic taste of Sonoma’s culinary offerings. As participants explore Sonoma, they will also discover its rich history, culture, and architecture, all while enjoying these delightful selections. This 3-hour tour covers about 1 mile and includes tastings that make up a satisfying lunch, with interesting facts shared along the way.
NOTE: ALL FOOD, WINE (1 tasting of 3-5 wines), COCKTAIL (1), AND LOCAL GUIDE ARE INCLUDED. There are no extra tasting fees.

- Minimum of 4 guests needed to hold the tour. If there are less than 4 guests, the tour will have to be cancelled (sorry) and it will be cancelled “due to bad weather” since Viator does not provide an appropriate reason for the small tour operator to cancel the tour.

Meet at the DEPOT PARK MUSEUM (NOT THE DOWNTOWN PLAZA). Meet your tour guide at the steps of the train caboose between the Depot Museum Parking Lot (Free, All-Day Parking) and the Depot Museum. Please be there 5 minutes before the start of your tour.

Fabulous Tour!!! - We had the absolute best day with the amazing Abby! Her history knowledge and enthusiasm was outstanding. Our girls trip highlight was diffidently completed with this tour. It’s a must! Cheers from Kentucky

Mother/Daughter Sonoma wine trip - A delicious way to spend the day in Sonoma!
Abby our tour leader was knowledgeable and fun! Really enjoyed learning some Sonoma history, having a great lunch and a wine tasting to boot! And can’t forget the amazing ice creams and truffles too!

Great tour to start your Sonoma visit! - What a great experience! Abby did an awesome job sharing information about Sonoma while also keeping us moving. Doing this as our first Sonoma activity really helped us know what to do with the rest of our time here. The food and drink stops along the way were all fantastic too. Highly recommend!

Great stop when visiting Sonoma! - The tour completely exceeded my expectations. Our host Abby was so informative about the history of Sonoma and every vendor we visited. Abby went above and beyond to make our group feel welcomed in her sweet hometown. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting!

A Must do for the BEST Food Tour --Love it! - I have been on 4 of these wonderful food tours and each time I bring different friends or family and it is always a hit!! Mia chooses the best restaurants and wineries and food places to visit. We come back on our own and purchase from these Food Tour stops. Our guide is always very knowledgable about the history of Sonoma which makes this 3 hour tour so fun. They take pictures of your group and allow you to download the pictures for you to share and enjoy. If you are making a vacation or even a weekend, I strongly suggest this Sonoma Food Tour!!!

Perfect - Perfect i'm glad we did at the end of our trip cause you travel around drinking a lot of wine going to the vineyards. It's all great but we did this the last day before we're leaving. I think it was a perfect day to wind down and get ready to leave.

Enjoy the Food Wine & History Tour of Sonoma - I would suggest that everyone visiting Sonoma experience this tour.
The food & wine tastings & the lunch are all wonderful.
The talks given on the history of buildings we entered & passed as we walked by, added so many interesting facts on the area.
Abby was wonderful & had a wealth of information on things to do in the area, restaurants, & more.
I loved it.

Love Sonoma - We had such a great time on this tour. Deborah was a terrific guide. She shared tons of information about Sonoma in a fun and engaging manner. Everything we tasted, from the chocolate to the Mexican dish, was absolutely delicious. Wine, champagne and the “Mia”rita was top notch. I can’t recommend this enough.
