• Chateau St. Jean Winery - This beautiful chateau dates back to 1920 when two mining and lumber magnates moved from Michigan. They intended to grow grapes for wine, but Prohibition quickly ended that dream. Instead, they grew prunes and walnuts!

• Ledson Winery & Vineyards - Barker Ledson, born to English nobility, longed for the wild West. He worked hard in the Mojave as a railroad surveyor, far from his privileged beginnings. Ledson used his earnings to buy a ranch, eventually transforming it into this vineyard!

• Santa Rosa - This serene community was once home to a peculiar cult. Thomas Lake Harris led the Brotherhood of the New Life in the late 1800s, a religious movement with unusual beliefs. Although a Christian, Harris claimed to communicate with fairies.
