Join our Eco Kayak Tour, led by an engaging herpetologist guide who will keep everyone entertained throughout the journey! This tour is perfect for both kids and adults, welcoming all skill levels from beginners to advanced kayakers. Participants will enjoy a two-hour guided tour through the mangrove tunnels, where the guide will share fascinating insights about the local ecosystem and the area’s history. As you paddle through the tranquil and serene waters of The Rookery Bay and the Ten Thousand Islands ecosystem, you’ll encounter various bird species and small creatures inhabiting this pristine subtropical mangrove forest estuary. Rookery Bay National Estuarine Reserve is one of the few remaining undisturbed mangrove estuaries in North America.

At the end of the tour, guests will receive photos taken by the guide during the adventure!

This tour is open to guests aged 4 and up.

• Minimum age of 4 years old. Parent or older sibling (age 15+) will need to accompany child on kayak
• Please note that a ticket must be purchased for every individual in your party, this includes children
• Must bring water and snacks as there is no concession available at the park.
• Not recommended for guests with recent surgeries
