Amazing time in Maasai Mara Safari - Excellent 3 day/2 night Maasai Mara Safari. Jeff was my guide/driver. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the whole experience safe and enjoyable. He’s an excellent driver. I saw so many animals including lions, cheetahs and even a leopard. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience! - I joined a group of 8 people as a solo traveler. Samuel was a very kind and smiling driver and guide and did everything to show us all the animals in the reserve: Lions, Elephants, Warthogs, Antelope, Giraffes, Hippos, Cheetahs, Leopards, Buffaloes, Monkeys, and countless other kinds of animals. I really enjoyed the stay at Jumbo Mara lodges: the rooms are spacious and luxurious, very clean and pleasant. The staff is lovely and we eat there properly (the restaurant is very clean and the dishes good). Samuel also gave us wise advice on buying our memories smartly. I also took the option to visit a Maasai village: the money collected goes to the village school and its entire operation. Their welcome was most adorable. I recommend without hesitation!

Put this on your bucket list - This was a once in a lifetime experience. The accommodations were unique- not exactly glamping- more like elevated camping. But the food was incredible. The people were helpful and friendly. Our guide Peter was amazing. He truly made sure we had a great time. He not only showed us the land, the animals, and the people, but he took time to teach us about all of it. I highly recommend it!!!❤️🦓🐘🐫🦒

“Perfect Safaris Africa is indeed Perfect”!!! Safari with Castro - We recently enjoyed a fantastic 3-day safari with Perfect Safaris Africa, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the beginning, the booking process was smooth, and we appreciated the management’s clear and honest communication, which is something we value in a business. Our guide and driver, Castro, was exceptional. His determination to help us see animals up close was incredible, and he always went the extra mile to find the best spots for wildlife viewing. His driving skills were impeccable, making us feel safe at all times, and he was unfailingly punctual. The accommodation was comfortable, and the food provided was excellent, adding to the overall enjoyment of our trip. One of the highlights was visiting a Maasai village, where we were warmly welcomed with traditional dances and learned fascinating details about their rich culture. The Masai Mara itself was breathtaking, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Castro. We highly recommend Perfect Safaris Africa for anyone considering a safari adventure – this trip was everything we’d hoped for and more!

It was a perfect safari - Our tour guide, Francis (Faru), made this a perfect safari. We saw the big 5 (multiple times) and many more because of him! We always seem to end in the best spots! It was the trip of a lifetime! The journey was fun, food provided, lodges were very comfortable and laid back (with proper toilet and shower attached). I wouldn’t change a thing about the perfect safari. Cheers Faru

Great experience - We had a lot of fun and also our guide was very nice and tried to show us a lot. Except for a cheetah and rhinos we have been able to observe all the animals. We were lucky enough to observe three lionesses hunting. That was a beautiful experience. Also the accommodation was good. The food, the tent size - only the bathrooms / toilets should be cleaned better and more often. In addition, it was very fresh in the morning, sweater and jacket are definitely needed. Tip: You should always stay seated while driving.

Safari - Samuel our driver and guide should definitely have 5 stars. We experienced a welcoming and helpful guide who was always ready for us. Samuel has great knowledge about Kenya and the animals, where we felt that his knowledge and knowledge made us get the ultimate experience with us. The safari was a huge experience and got even better by having Samuel with us. It was clear that Samuel knew where to look for all the animals, so we saw them all. The camp itself was very minimalist and there is only electricity for certain periods of time. We needed water that could be used to rinse our mouths with. The shower had no pressure, so we couldn't swim. The staff is generally not very welcoming or friendly. That said, it gave a clear sense of what it is like to live in Kenya outside the capital.

Budget camping a few things to be aware of - Olailepo Mara Camp is one to avoid and it’s a shame that the people who work there make it this way. We were greeted by Frank the manager a very personable and well spoken man who insists on you buying him a beer at the campfire and holds you to it at the end at checkout when he insists to have you sign out so he can make one last attempt to shake you down for a drink you owe him after spending $300/$100 per day in a tent in the middle of nowhere they should be offering me a drink. No-drinks are not included, so beware because they are happy to bring you anything you want but they will inflate the price so they can offer themselves a kickback and when questioned and have discrepancies with price they will follow you out to your vehicle (lady manager in kitchen-did) until you pay to make sure the money is paid on that cheap bottle of red wine so talk prices up front or there should be prices posted on bar!! On the 3rd day I was informed that I can shower because now there is hot water because they pumped the line but it was already time to leave and I spent 3 days taking cold shower. Beds were made up comfortable and the one towel that they provided is one I cut up for rags when it’s seen better days!! Premises are clean but there are monkeys so make sure tents are zipped down!! Ian in the kitchen does a great job but it’s pretty much a repeat of the same meal everyday!! Jackson greets you warmly at check in and checkout!! There’s no security or gate like other camps and the entrance road to camp was very bumpy and filled with cervices from rain. Such a cute place with such great potential if employees were not running it in a shady manor!! Internet was basically only working a few hours a day in the dining hall and would be nice to seat by the fire at night in a comfortable chair as opposed to seating in a metal straight back plastic covered dining chairs. Spend the extra money and stay elsewhere where we heard/saw had tents, pools and better selection of food.
