Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Maasai Mara National Reserve - At 8:00 AM, the operator will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel to begin the journey to Maasai Mara. The route includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for 10-15 minutes to admire the scenery. Lunch will be served at the camp in Maasai Mara. In the afternoon, after checking in, embark on a sunset game drive in the Mara Reserve from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Return to the camp for a buffet dinner, followed by a restful night at Enkajiang Camp, Rhino Tourist Camp, or a similar location. The tents are equipped with a toilet, shower, bed, linen, and mosquito nets. Electricity is available from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Maasai Mara Reserve is Kenya’s most popular tourist destination, situated in the Great Rift Valley’s open grasslands. Wildlife is most abundant on the reserve’s western escarpment, making it a prime location for wildlife viewing.

A balloon safari is available at a discounted rate of USD 380 per person, which can be arranged for early morning on this day before continuing with the regular itinerary. The Mara is renowned for hosting one of nature’s most spectacular events: the great migration. This annual migration involves millions of wildebeest and zebras moving from the Serengeti in Tanzania in search of water and pasture, followed closely by savanna predators such as lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After an early breakfast, check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi. Enjoy a brief stop at a Maasai village for a cultural experience, learning about the Maasai community and interacting with the local people as you leave Maasai Mara. Continue the journey to Nairobi, with a complimentary lunch provided at a traveler’s motel along the way. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel.
